Banshee

Banshee, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Amish country, is the locale for the action-drama heading into its third season on Cinemax. It debuts FRIDAY, JANUARY 09, 2015 beginning at 10:00pm. If you recall the series it is about an ex-con taking on the persona of Lucas Hood a local sheriff and wielding his own brand of justice. Under its belt is twenty episodes about the deadly dealings and the mysterious identity of the main character. At the end of Season Two viewers got closure with one enemy, named Rabbit, only to be replaced with another one as Chayton Littlestone arrives for Season Three. Guest starring in the coming season is Dennis O’Hare of TRUE BLOOD as FBI Special Agent Robert Phillips hot on the trail for the ex-con.

Straight from a Cinemax Press Release here are Cast details.BansheeS3_Poster-202x300

Sadly, this writer cannot tell you whether it is or not. I don’t get Cinemax myself.

HBOWatch from time to time has reported Cinemax news. It wasn’t until THE KNICK took off that we decided to report more from HBO’s sister channel. Many cable companies offer a bundle package of HBO/Cinemax so we thought it possible that users of this site watched Cinemax as well.

Someday I might just watch BANSHEE on DVD or, via streaming if it ever goes to that format.
